After receiving a call regarding a PVC particulate powder release on a rooftop, in a parking area, and in a nearby waterway, our team from the Roanoke, Virginia office responded quickly and professionally. Upon arrival, they determined that more than 400 gallons of product had been released.
The crew immediately focused on protecting the impacted creek by installing underflow and surface dams in multiple areas to prevent further contamination. Poly sheeting was placed over affected ground to limit the spread of powder while cleanup efforts continued.
This multi-day project required extensive remediation, repeated dam adjustments, and thorough site restoration to ensure no material was left behind.
Outstanding work by the Roanoke team with support from our Richmond team: Courtney Been, Jesus Lopez, Ashanti Reyes, Dayshawn Boston, James Hilton, Julian Herrara, Daniel Sullivan, and Samia Porras!
