First Call was requested to respond to a incident involving a ruptured 275 gallon poly tote of white road paint that had impacted a major thoroughfare. Crews arrived to find the tote, which had slid off of a truck, in the middle of the roadway with it’s entire contents released and covering a large area. On top of that, passenger cars had driven through the paint prior to First Call’s arrival, making even more of an impact. Crews began cleanup efforts utilizing power washers, skid steers and vac trucks. The project was tedious one that ranged multiple days with power washing and vacuuming of paint. The end result was the site restored back to pre-spill conditions and a project handled effectively and efficiently from start to finish by the entire First Call Environmental Team.
