Last week Rick Myers, First Call’s Appalachian Regional Manager, contacted a local charity called Knoxville Pays It Forward about offering assistance for the flood disaster relief that plagued the state of Tennessee.

Knoxville Pays It Forward advised that they needed help with paying for the fuel to get their box truck of supplies delivered to Waverly, TN. First Call offered to pay for the fuel and to supply a crew to drive the truck down to deliver supplies. The offer was accepted and greatly appreciated.

Rick and crew drove the truck to Waverly and worked with the TEMA (Tennessee Emergency Management Agency) Operations Director on the locations and the delivery of the products.
