This month First Call would like to highlight our Appalachian Region. This region is comprised of field offices located in Knoxville, TN, Chattanooga, TN, Asheville, NC and one of our newest field offices, Bristol, VA. Our Knoxville office is our hub location and was opened in October of 2014. This office, as the region’s hub location, provides support and resources to the other three locations while also running it’s own calls.
The Appalachian Regional Manager is Michael Newman. Michael started with First Call in May of 2022 as our Asheville, NC Area Manager and has shown great initiative with his work ethic, leadership skills, and management abilities. He was promoted to Region Manager later in 2022. Michael’s leadership style is one that strives for perfection. He is driven to ensure that First Call’s customers’ expectations are met by his crews with professionalism. Michael’s employees know that his door is always open and that they can speak to him about anything. He provides honest and constructive criticism when the time is right, as he feels this allows room for individuals to improve and grow. Michael views every customer encounter as if he was the sole face of the company and the future of this company depended on it. “Every customer, big or small, counts equally.
