Who
Recipient – This award is reserved for individuals who are making a difference in their community through their actions and selfless acts.
Sponsor – Each nominee will be represented by a sponsor. The sponsor will nominate an individual and advocate on their behalf to the Selection Committee. If a sponsor’s nominee is selected, they will assist with the presentation of the award.
Selection Committee – Three members of the First Call team who donate time each month to pick a recipient from the list of nominees.
What
The First Call Cares award is a monthly gift of time, money, or resources to a deserving member of a local community.
When
One award will be presented per month.
Where
Awards will be presented in one of the communities served by First Call Environmental. Currently, those communities are:
Richmond, VA Chesapeake, VA Roanoke, VA South Hill, VA
Raleigh, NC Fayetteville, NC Harrisonburg, VA Knoxville, TN
Columbia, SC Charlotte, NC Augusta, GA Louisville, KY
Woodbridge, NJ Maple Shade, NJ Baltimore, MD Cincinnati, OH
Why
One of the founding principles of First Call Environmental is to give back to the communities we serve. On a daily basis, these communities are filled with countless individuals who have dedicated their lives to helping and serving others. First Call Cares seeks to find these individuals and give back.
