This month were highlighting the Greensboro, NC office for our project spotlight!
After a spill of cooking oil from a trailer carrying 20 containers (totaling approximately 4,000 gallons) Greensboro was quick to respond. Once on site, the crew contained the cooking oil in the parking lot. They then traced the oil that had reached a nearby drain downstream to a creek where they deployed boom to capture it. Once the scene was stabilized the crew split up, one crew cleaning up the release and the other crew utilizing 2 vac trucks to empty the remaining damaged containers. At the completion of this job waste had been profiled and disposed of and all site work was complete. The crew stayed on this from beginning to end, logging 21.50 hours per crew member! Well done to all involved on this job!
