Our New Kensington, PA office is being featured in the Project Spotlight after their recent response to a release of an estimated 100lbs of Carbon Black Pigment. Carbon Black is one of the most difficult pigments to clean up due to the extremely dark color, its ability to stain easily, and its consistency, which makes it easy to transfer. Our New Kensington, PA crew, led by Area Manager DJ Elter, and his team of HazMat Technicians, Cody Schreiner, Allen Taylor, and Dustin Schreiner arrived on scene and made a plan. They were able to properly execute everything getting this spill cleaned up by working efficiently and effectively to minimize the number of things impacted by the powder. This crew went above and beyond in their efforts and communication with the broker.
