First Call Environmental recently responded to a call regarding a chemical reaction involving multiple IBC totes in Lawrenceville, GA. IBC totes, or pallet tanks, are reusable industrial containers designed for the transport and storage of bulk liquid and substances, such as chemicals, solvents and pharmaceuticals. These particular IBC totes found in Lawrenceville, GA contained a highly reactive organic peroxide that impacted a warehouse floor and structural support. First Call Environmental was able to mobilize crews from our locations in New Jersey, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee in order to work around the clock to transfer the reacting materials and decontaminate the facility. We are extremely proud of our team, on site and off, with the work that they performed and look forward to taking on more projects where we can show our First Call difference.
